Lipolysis (Cryolipolysis)

What is Medical Aesthetics?

Aesthetic medicine is the aging of the person, the preservation of his current situation and stylistic interventions in certain areas. Unlike plastic surgery, it is performed without any incision. The types of aesthetic medicine are very diverse and have been developed with new technologies. Aesthetic medicine applications are usually injections under the skin.

Lipolysis (Cryolipolysis)

Lipolysis is the non-surgical removal of fat from certain parts of the body; Also known as cold lipolysis. They are generally applied to areas of the body that contain fat-rich tissues such as under the eyes, abdomen, legs, pelvis, arms and back. The success rate is very high in the application, which is performed by first freezing the fat cells and then breaking them down. Lipolysis results are permanent and do not cause sagging of the body. Cryolipolysis, which is a non-surgical aesthetic method, is a very useful method for patients who do not want to have any surgical procedures such as liposuction or Vaser Liposuction.

How does cryolipolysis work?

It is a method that eliminates unwanted fat accumulation in the body by using freezing temperatures to shrink and irreversibly destroy fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissues.
Fat cells destroyed during the cryolipolysis process are excreted by the body’s own inflammatory system. Over time, it causes a significant decrease in the thickness of the oil layer where the application is made.

Usage areas

Cryolipolysis is successfully applied in the upper and lower abdomen, hips, waist, back, arms, legs and jowl areas.

How is cryolipolysis done?

During the application, the fat layer under the skin is cooled in a controlled manner without damaging the skin. When the application is finished, the device stops the process and the patient continues his normal activities.
